Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Bifalabs collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with its websites, AI interview platform, proctoring services, candidate readiness tools, recruiter dashboards, analytics, APIs, and related services. Because Bifalabs operates in hiring and workforce readiness, the platform may process sensitive professional, assessment, and integrity-related information.
Information We Collect
Bifalabs may collect account information, contact details, profile information, resumes, employment history, education history, skill claims, work authorization information if provided, interview responses, written answers, audio and video recordings, screen recordings, device information, IP address, browser events, proctoring signals, candidate notes, recruiter feedback, usage logs, billing details, and support communications.
Proctoring Data
When proctoring is enabled, Bifalabs may collect webcam footage, microphone audio, screen capture, identity verification images, browser focus events, tab switches, copy and paste signals, keyboard and mouse activity metadata, network interruption events, warning acknowledgments, environmental anomaly signals, and related integrity logs. These signals are used to preserve assessment integrity and support review by authorized personnel.
How We Use Information
Bifalabs uses information to provide and secure the Services, authenticate users, administer assessments, generate interview and readiness outputs, detect fraud or cheating, provide candidate and employer dashboards, support billing, communicate with users, improve product performance, maintain audit logs, comply with legal obligations, and protect Bifalabs, users, and the public from misuse.
AI Processing
Bifalabs may use AI systems to transcribe interviews, summarize candidate responses, compare skills to role requirements, generate learning recommendations, assist with integrity scoring, and produce reviewable employer insights. AI processing is intended to support human review. Bifalabs should not be represented as making final hiring decisions unless a separate legally reviewed workflow expressly provides for that use.
How We Share Information
Bifalabs may share information with the employer, recruiter, staffing agency, training provider, or organization that invited a candidate to use the Services; with cloud hosting, analytics, security, payment, communication, identity verification, and support vendors; with legal authorities when required; and with professional advisors. Bifalabs does not sell personal information.
Legal Bases and Consent
Depending on jurisdiction and context, Bifalabs may process information based on contract performance, consent, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or other lawful bases. Proctoring, recording, biometric-like identity checks, and employment-related AI workflows may require additional notice and consent depending on applicable law and customer configuration.
Retention
Bifalabs retains personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain records, comply with contracts, resolve disputes, support security, meet legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Enterprise customers may configure retention settings for recordings, logs, reports, and candidate records.
Security
Bifalabs uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls, encryption in transit, role-based permissions, logging, secure hosting, and monitoring. No system can be guaranteed fully secure. Users should protect their credentials and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
User Rights
Depending on location, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. Requests may be sent to privacy@bifalabs.ai. Where Bifalabs acts as a processor or service provider for an employer, Bifalabs may direct the individual to the relevant customer or respond in coordination with that customer.
International Transfers
Where information is transferred across borders, Bifalabs will use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, which may include contractual protections, standard contractual clauses, vendor due diligence, or other transfer mechanisms.
Children
The Services are not intended for children under 16. Bifalabs does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If such information is identified, Bifalabs will take steps to delete it or obtain required authorization where applicable.
